We are halfway through the year with a lot of activities still in front of us.

This month we talk about why we love our plucking birds. Come join the group and exchange information and ideas. Find out tips and suggestions. Most importantly, have a good time.

In July our regular meeting will be held at our annual picnic, so please mark the dates on your calendars and join us for an afternoon of camaraderie.

We are still working out the dates for the conference and are trying to hold one in the Matanuska Valley and Anchorage. Please keep an eye on the web site for future updates.

I will be out of town until the 13th of June, so please give Amber your support as she holds down the fort (or is that tamps down the trees and flowers) while I am away. As always, I can be reached by email.

I know I have said this in past newsletters, and will continue doing so, we desperately need a secretary. Please, step forward and volunteer to fill this position and consider taking on the office for another year.
