I am still in begging mode. We desperately need a secretary to
finish out the year as well as a person to take care of the fundraising
tables at all TABC events.
We have a hospitality person, and she may ask from time to
time for donations of food or beverages.
We have worked diligently to find a picnic location and have
at last verified the park location so we have an overhead
cover. Garry has generously agreed to bring the cooker so
we can have hotdogs and hamburgers.
Not too much else to add except visit the web site for upcoming
events or changes in times for board meetings. We have tried our
best to meet all the needs of board members and keep the membership
involved.
For those of you who don’t know, I now have Kai the macaw living with
me and the flock. She has adjusted very well and we look forward to
many years of friendship ahead of us.
Make a change in a birds’ life. Adopt, educate, learn. We are, after all,
here for the birds. All of us know what it is like to be a birdie slave,
and we love it. That is the message I hope makes it at every meeting we
hold.
