Donations

The Alaska Bird Club is a non-profit organization, incorporated in the State of Alaska. We are dedicated to educating bird owners, bird breeders and the general public about new avian studies and proper care and husbandry of birds. Without donations, the bird club cannot operate, and you can help!

If you would like to donate or become a sponsor, send an e-mail to The Alaska Bird Club at akbird@yahoo.com

All monetary donations are tax deductible. All other donations can be itemized and a receipt can be provided to you. Sponsors will also be posted on the Sponsors page. To get an idea of what we need, please check out the Donation Wish List below!

Donation Wish List

BIRD CLUB

The bird club can always use your donations of unused cotton rope for their toy making sessions (because of safety reasons, this must still be wrapped by the factory before we can use it).

We can also always use administrative items, printer paper, pens, advertising spots, etc.

ADOPT-A-BIRD PROGRAM

Cages in good condition are always needed to help as fundraisers or emergency placement cages. Cages should be clean and steralized before donating to protect the health of other birds. For the foster program, gift certificates for bird food are a great donation, in addition to bird toys and clean newspaper.

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE

Silly gifts, items for the Seminar Speaker Gift Basket, or items for the monthly Fund Raiser Table. If you want to help with refreshments at the meetings or events, please contact the Hospitality Committee Chair prior to the meeting or event.

LOST/FOUND RESCUE COMMITTEE

Tree climbing harness, binoculars, gloves, flashlights, portable kennels, gear bags, etc.
